2021 March Madness Final Four PicksSelection Sunday for the 2021 March Madness tournament is next week.

We’re nearing the start of the NCAA basketball tournament. After being cancelled last year, CBB fans are chomping at the bit for this year’s tourney to get underway.

We recently took a look at the odds to win March Madness 2021.

Today, we’re going to look at three value bets to make the Final Four. This futures betting market is available at Bovada. Grab a $750 March Madness bonus if you deposit using Bitcoin.

Best Bets to Make the Final Four at March Madness 2021

I’m going to be betting on these three teams to make the Final Four.

All three of these picks are value bets and we only need one of them to make the Final Four to have a nice payday at the conclusion of the NCAA basketball tournament this year.

The West Virginia Mountaineers (18-8 / 11-6 in Big 12) are ranked #6 in the country, but they’re not getting a lot of respect from the public, as they’re paying +450 to make the Final Four.

This team can keep up with anyone on the offensive end. West Virginia rank #35 in scoring (77.6 PPG), but the problem has been on the defensive end, as they’re allowing 72.1 PPG (219th).

Miles McBride leads the team in scoring (15.3 PPG), but Derek Culver has been the best player on the team, as he’s averaging 14.8 PPG and 9.8 RPG. Two other players are also averaging 10.0+ PPG.

WVU ranks #39 in offensive efficiency (1.065). They’ve been a tough team to put away all season and that’s with playing in the Big 12,, which features seven of the top 18 teams in the country this year.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (21-6 / 16-2 in SEC) dominated the SEC this year. The conference features only one other ranked team (Arkansas), but the competition has been far from weak.

Ranked #8 in the nation, Alabama are a lot like WVU. The Crimson Tide rank #15 in scoring (79.6 PPG), but struggle defensively (70.3 PPG / 174th). I always prefer teams that can score efficiently.

Bad defense can cost you during March Madness, but not as badly as poor offense.

Jaden Shackelford leads the team in scoring (14.4 PPG). Four players are averaging 10.0+ PPG on this team. They’re one of the top rebounding teams in the country as well (40.3 RPG – 10th).

Another category where Alabama excel is three-point shooting. Alabama ranks #3 in three-pointers made per game (10.7). If they get hot beyond the arc, they can defeat any team in the tournament.

Don’t sleep on the San Diego State Aztecs (20-4 / 14-3 in Mountain West) this year.

Do you remember that the Aztecs were ranked #6 in the country last season before March Madness was cancelled. They haven’t been as dominant in 2021, but they’re on an 11-game winning streak.

At 16/1 to make the Final Four in what could be a wide open year, the Aztecs are a great bet.

SDSU haven’t been tested too much, but they have two ranked wins (UCLA and ASU) earlier in the season. Depending upon how Selection Sunday goes, they could be one of the top sleepers.

The Aztecs rank #89 in scoring (74.0 PPG), but they’re one of the best defensive teams in the nation (60.9 PPG – 16th). They currently rank #47 in three-pointers made per game as well (8.7).

San Diego State have a lot of depth, but they rely on Matt Mitchell (15.4 PPG) and Jordan Schakel (14.4 PPG) for a lot of the scoring. They’re the only two players averaging double-digits in points.

While this is a longshot bet, the Aztecs are going to want to make noise on the national level.
