NFL Thanksgiving Day Preview 2020This Thursday is Thanksgiving Day and that means we have three NFL games to bet on.

Who doesn’t love Thanksgiving Day? There’s the Macy’s Parade, National Dog Show and three NFL games on Thursday. Get the beers cold, it’s going to be a long day.

COVID-19 has forced changes to some of these annual Thanksgiving Day festivities, but I’m glad the organizers were able to move forward with the events, as millions love to tune in.

Let’s get right into things, as we have three games to preview.

All three games have point spreads of -3.5 or lower, so we’re going with three moneyline bets.

I recommend betting these predictions straight-up and then parlaying all three together.

Texans vs. Lions Moneyline Prediction for Week 12

The Detroit Lions (4-6 / 4-6 ATS) are coming off a loss to Carolina (20-0) and they didn’t even score a single point. The Houston Texans (3-7 / 3-7 ATS) are coming off a win against the Patriots (27-20).

Houston started the season on a 1-6 run and they allowed 28+ points in every one of those losses.

The defense has been slowly improving and the Lions offense (22.7 PPG / 22nd) shouldn’t put much fear into them. The Texans are also averaging 22.7 PPG (22nd) this season.

Detroit are allowing 258.4 PYPG (25th), while the Texans average 274.3 PYPG (8th).

The Lions have lost on Thanksgiving Day the last three years. This year won’t be any different. Look for the Texans to have success airing it out and cruise to a win.

Washington vs. Cowboys Moneyline Prediction for Week 12

When: Thursday, November 26th 2020 at 4:30PM ET

Line: Cowboys -2.5 / Total: 46.5 Points

Washington (3-7 / 5-5 ATS) take on the Dallas Cowboys (3-7 / 2-8 ATS) on Thursday.

Both teams are coming off a win. Washington defeated the Bengals (20-9) and the Cowboys defeated the Vikings (31-28). Andy Dalton had a good game after returning from injury.

However, these teams played each other just a few weeks ago. Washington dominated (25-3). In that game, Dalton only completed 9/19 pass attempts for 75 yards and 1 INT.

Washington have a strong defense. They only allow 22.7 PPG (10th), while the Cowboys come into this game allowing more points (31.8 PPG) than any other team in the NFL this season.

Alex Smith isn’t likely going to throw for 300+ passing yards and 3+ passing TDs, but he’s still a good game manager and the Washington defense is good enough to keep them in this game.

Ezekiel Elliott finally had 100+ rushing yards in a game for the first time this season against Minny, but he only has 675 rushing yards and 5 rushing TDs so far this season.

After getting paid, Elliott has seemingly lost the motivation to compete at the highest level.

Ravens vs. Steelers Moneyline Prediction for Week 12

When: Thursday, November 26th 2020 at 8:20PM ET

Line: Steelers -3.5 / Total: 45.5 Points

Who would have thought the Steelers (10-0 / 8-2 ATS) would be the most profitable team to bet on this season. They’re the only undefeated team and they have the best against the spread record.

The Baltimore Ravens (6-4 / 4-6 ATS)have lost two games in a row and three of their last four games.

Have defenses been figuring out how to stop Lamar Jackson? The Ravens average 26.8 PPG (12th), but the offense has been struggling and that’s because of a lack of weapons.

TE Mark Andrews can’t be the team’s leading receiver, but he is with 454 receiving yards. Jackson only has 15 TD passes in 10 games. That’s not going to get it done in today’s NFL.

Pittsburgh have been rolling with Ben Roethlisberger. Big Ben has 24 TD passes and he only has 5 INTs. This is a deep team with an incredible amount of talent at the skill positions.

Chase Claypool, Diontae Johnson and JuJu Smith-Schusterall have 500+ receiving yards.

The Steelers don’t get the respect they deserve.

Thanksgiving Day NFL Parlay Picks

As I mentioned in the introduction, I recommend parlaying these three picks as well.

A parlay with these three NFL moneyline bets will pay +484 odds. That means a $100 parlay would pay $484 profit ($584 total return). Who couldn’t use some early Christmas shopping money?
