NFL Regular Season Receiving PropsWe’re going to jump into one of my favorite NFL regular season props today.

You can bet on more than Super Bowl and division/conference futures if you’re interested in betting on season-long markets. One of those markets is regular season receiving touchdown props.

This market is available at Bovada ($250 NFL Bonus).

The goal is to predict whether a player will go over or under the posted receiving TDs total.

Do you know who led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in 2019? It was Kenny Golladay (11 TDs).

The only other two players with 10+ receiving TDs in 2019 were Cooper Kupp (10) and Mark Andrews (10).

NFL Regular Season Receiving Touchdown Prop Betting Odds and Picks

Barring injury, I see no reason Golladay won’t smash this receiving TDs total.

Matthew Stafford is healthy and if he can play like he did in 2019, Golladay will put up big numbers. Prior to breaking his back in 2019, Stafford had thrown 7 TDs to Golladay in eight weeks.

Golladay is a big play threat, he was averaging 7.8 targets per game with Stafford at QB and he’s the #1 WR in Detroit. The team will likely be playing from behind a lot as well.

It wouldn’t be unrealistic for Golladay to score 2-3 TDs in garbage time in 2020. I have the Lions WR easily exceeding this total and he’s my best bet in the season-long receiving TDs props market.

Beckham Jr. hasn’t exceeded six receiving TDs during the regular season since 2016.

OBJ racked up 74 receptions for 1035 yards in his first season with the Browns, but he only caught four TD passes. Part of the problem was Baker Mayfield struggled in his sophomore season.

Mayfield threw 27 TDs and 14 INTs in his rookie season (2018), but he followed that up by throwing for 22 TDs and 21 INTs last season. OBJ is also recovering from a sports hernia surgery.

Another reason I don’t think Beckham Jr. will go over his receiving TDs total is because of the new addition of TE Austin Hooper. Hooper had 71 receptions (4 TDs) in 2018 and 75 receptions (6 TDs) in 2019. He’s going to eat into the production of OBJ and Jarvis Landry.

Cleveland would be wise to focus on running the football in 2020 as well. Nick Chubb is projected to be among the league’s leading rushers again and Kareem Hunt is back as the RB2.

This regular season receiving TD total seems a little low.

Allen has had six receiving TDs in each of the last three seasons for the Chargers. Philip Rivers is gone and it looks like Tyrod Taylor will start the season and could see extended action.

LAC drafted Justin Herbert in the first round, but Taylor is expected to be the #1 QB.

I really don’t care who the QB is. Allen is a reception machine. He has had 102, 97 and 104 receptions the last three seasons. The Chargers are going to be playing from behind a lot too.

The run game is weak, as Austin Ekeler is more capable through the air. Taylor had some success with the Bills (2015-17) and with him fighting for his job, he’ll need to produce.

Thielen is coming off a tough season, as he missed six games because of injury.

He finished the regular season with just 30 receptions for 418 yards, but he had 6 receiving TDs. In the year prior, Kirk Cousin’s first year with the Vikings, Thielen had 9 receiving TDs.

Keep in mind, Stefon Diggs is now in Buffalo and Thielen is the undisputed #1 WR. He had very little competition as well, unless rookie Justin Jefferson can produce right away.

If Thielen can stay healthy, he could lead the NFL in receiving TDs in 2020.

Betting on him at over 7.5 TDs is a lot of TDs, but with him catching six TDs in only 10 games last season, exceeding the number shouldn’t be a major problem if he’s on the field.

These are my top four best bets in the regular season receiving touchdowns props market.

Bovada has over/under receiving TDs odds on about 40-50 players right now. If you don’t mind your money being locked up for multiple months, there’s a lot of value in these season-long markets.
