NFL Quarterback Passing Props 2020The NFL is still scheduled to start on Thursday, September 10th 2020.

We’ve already discussed rushing and receiving NFL prop bets in previous articles. Today, we’re going to analyze my best 2020 NFL quarterback (QB) prop predictions for the regular season.

You can bet on NFL regular season props at Bovada and new players are eligible to claim up to a $750 bonus when depositing with Bitcoin.

Most starting QBs have over/under props on how many touchdowns (TDs) they’re going to throw and how many passing yards they’ll have during the regular season.

Lamar Jackson is the lone QB with a rushing yards prop. You can bet on Jackson over 919.5 rushing yards at -110 odds or under 919.5 rushing yards at -120 odds at the Bovada Sportsbook.

Kyler Murray Passing Yards Prop Picks

This is the season Kliff Kingsbury’s air raid offense takes the NFL by storm.

In his rookie season, Murray threw for 3722 yards, 20 TDs and just 12 INTs. That was with the veteran Larry Fitzgerald (75 receptions for 804 yards and 4 TDs) leading the WR unit.

Fitzgerald is past his prime at this point, but he’s still extremely productive.

He was brought back on a one-year deal and WR2 Christian Kirk (68 receptions for 709 yards and 3 TDs) is back as well. However, the big news this off-season for the Cardinals was that they were able to fleece the Texans in a trade that brought in WR DeAndre Hopkins.

Hopkins has averaged 1228.9 receiving yards per season in his seven-year career. He has great size and with defenses needing to account for Hopkins, Fitzgerald/Kirk will benefit.

The Cardinals offense also have Kenyan Drake who is a dual-threat RB. In eight games with Arizona last season, Drake caught 28 of 35 passes thrown his way for 171 yards.

RB David Johnson also had 36 receptions for 370 yards and 4 TDs. With Johnson gone, Drake will need to replace his production. Murray will throw 4000+ passing yards in his sophomore season.

Philip Rivers Passing Yards Prop Picks

I’m predicting the Rivers experiment goes terribly wrong in Indianapolis this season.

Sure, Rivers ranked #4 in passing yards (4615) last season with the Chargers, but he was also only one of three QBs to throw 20+ interceptions. He ranked #3 in INTs with 20 in 2019.

Rivers had more weapons in LA as well. He had Keenan Allen, Mike Williams and RB Austin Ekeler who had 92 receptions for 993 yards last season. The Colts have RB Nyheim Hines who caught 44 passes for 320 yards in 2019, but he’s now third on the depth chart.

RB Marlon Mack isn’t a big threat through the air and rookie Jonathan Taylor isn’t either.

The Colts WR2 is rookie Michael Pittman Jr. and the WR3 is Paris Campbell who only hauled in 18 receptions for 127 yards in seven games last season. The Colts also lost TE Eric Ebron.

Rivers is going to have a long season and I don’t expect him to exceed 4000 passing yards.

Derek Carr Passing Touchdowns Prop Picks

The line on Carr’s passing TDs in 2020 seems a bit low.

Even last season, despite some struggles, Carr threw for 4054 yards, 21 TDs and 8 INTs. He did that with limited weapons as well. TE Darren Waller was the Raiders leading receiver (1145 yards).

Waller is back and the Raiders added even more TE depth by signing Jason Witten. Witten is past his prime in the NFL, but he still had 63 receptions for 529 yards and 4 TDs with Dallas in 2019.

The Raiders top two WRs from 2019 are back as well. Tyrell Williams (42 receptions for 651 yards and 6 TDs) and Hunter Renfrow (49 receptions for 605 yards and 4 TDs) will look to improve upon last year.

Las Vegas made a splash by drafting Henry Ruggs III with the #12 pick in the NFL draft. He could be the team’s top WR in 2020. Nelson Agholor will get to try and revive his career in Vegas as well.

He was signed to a low-risk one-year deal. Agholor struggled with the Eagles, but he does have 15 receiving TDs in the last three seasons and will be added depth for Carr in the pass game.

With this being the Raiders first year in Las Vegas, I expect them to come out showcasing Carr and the new-look pass game. Carr has only thrown fewer than 20 TDs in one of his six years in the NFL.
