2020 NFL Draft LogoThe 2020 NFL Draft was scheduled for April 23rd-25th in Las Vegas, but that’s no longer going to happen because of the coronavirus pandemic, but the draft is expected to go on still.

Roger Goodell has recently said the draft will go on as scheduled.

However, it’ll be a lot different than what fans are used to.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter sent out a tweet on Saturday (April 4th) stating he has spoken to high-level officials with multiple teams and they’re preparing for a virtual at-home draft.

There’s also a push to postpone the draft, so everything is still up in the air.

Regardless, there will be a 2020 NFL Draft at some point, so let’s look at the betting markets.

Where to Bet on the 2020 NFL Draft

Bovada has released nearly 100 betting markets for the 2020 NFL Draft.

They have markets for nearly everything you can imagine. I won’t be able to cover them all in this article either, so your best bet to view the complete betting board is to visit Bovada.

All new players can claim a $250 Bonus (50% of Deposit) when they join Bovada.

2020 NFL Draft Top 3 Picks

The #1 pick is a foregone conclusion, QB Joe Burrow will be selected by the Bengals.

DE Chase Young is the top prospect in the draft and the Redskins should take him at #2. Could they trade down? Potentially. However, I don’t see the Redskins passing on Young here.

The #3 pick is where things start to get a bit more interesting.

I see two likely scenarios. The Lions will keep their pick and draft CB Jeff Okudah who would fill a big hole after the Lions traded Darius Slay. He’s the top CB in the draft without question.

The other likely option would be the Lions moving back in the draft. A number of teams are going to be QB hungry and will want to move up so that they can draft QB Tua Tagovailoa.

What do I recommend doing?

Bovada has Tagovailoa and Okudah priced at +155 to be selected at #3. We could bet on both of these guys and if either one is drafted with the #3 pick we would make a small profit (0.55 Units).

2020 NFL Draft Best Bets

There seems to be plenty of value offered by Bovada for the upcoming NFL draft.

Here are a few of my best bets:

Quite a few mock drafts I’ve seen have Jeudy going to the Raiders at pick #12.

There isn’t much separating Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb (+175) and Henry Ruggs III (+185) and all three WRs should be drafted in the first 15 picks of the draft, but my money is on Jeudy going first.

Jeudy isn’t likely going to be the next Julio Jones, but he’s the best WR in this class. He also has the best chance to make an immediate impact in the NFL, which is what the Raiders need at WR.

You can also bet on Jeudy being drafted by the Raiders (+180) at Bovada.

The offensive line (OL) class is solid, especially at the top this year.

Wirfs, Mekhi Becton (+175), Jedrick Wills Jr. (+350) and Andrew Thomas (+1000) are all expected to be off the board in the first 15 picks, but Wirfs is my pick to be the first OL selected.

Where will he go? I have Wirfs going to the Giants at pick #4. They need to protect Daniel Jones and Wirfs is the best OL in the class, despite Becton posting an insane 40 time.

This bet is far from a guarantee, but I wanted to end the article with some value.

I’m a little surprised we’re getting +250 odds on this market. Here’s what I know for sure. Young and Okudah are going to be drafted early, so there will definitely be two OSU players drafted in R1.

We need one more OSU player to sneak into the first round.

Several mock drafts I’ve seen have CB Damon Arnette going to the Chiefs at pick #32. His problem is character issues, but a team may take a chance on him, as he’s a talented CB.

While unlikely, J.K. Dobbins could also sneak into the opening round.
