Steelers vs. Browns Money Line Pick for NFL Week 11

Pittsburgh Steelers(5-4) @ Cleveland Browns(3-6)

  • Where: FirstEnergy Stadium. Cleveland, OH
  • When: November 14, 2019 8:00 pm EST
  • Spread: Steelers +2.5 (-105) vs. Browns -2.5 (-115)
  • Moneyline: Steelers (+130) vs. Browns (-150)
  • Over / Under: Over 40 Points (-110) vs. Under 40 Points (-110)

The Cleveland Browns (2-6-1 ATS) host the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3 ATS) on Thursday Night Football (TNF). This is an important AFC North match-up with huge playoff implications.

Pittsburgh have won four consecutive games after starting the season 1-4. They find themselves in second place in the AFC North, but the Browns are still within striking distance.

These two teams will also play in week 13, so the Browns could easily catch the Steelers. The wild card race in the AFC is going to come down to the wire, but 3rd place in the AFC North won’t cut it.

Steelers at Browns Week 11 Point Spread and Over/Under Odds Movement

Cleveland picked up a win over the Bills (19-16) in week 10 and now they’re favored to beat PIT? I know they’re at home, but this line will likely close at a PK after opening up at -3 in favor of CLE.

The line has already dropped a ½ point to -2.5 at Bovada (Join today to get a $250 bonus).

The over/under opened up at 41.5 points, but has already been bet down to O/U 40 points. Despite both teams struggling to score this season, the H2H trends point to this game going over the total.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns Stats Pack and Injury News

In injury news, the Steelers are expecting James Conner to suit up on TNF. Pittsburgh badly need his power running game back. However, they should still use Jaylen Samuels in the pass game.

The Browns are hoping Olivier Vernon and Eric Murray can suit up on a short week. They also have injury concerns at TE. David Njoku is already on the IR and Ricky Seals-Jones is banged up.

Here’s how these two teams stack up against each other on offense and defense:

Bet On Cleveland Browns Week 11 2019The Steelers defense has really stepped up during the winning streak. The Steelers have only given up 16.8 PPG during the win streak. The addition of Minkah Fitzpatrick has paid dividends too, as he has an interception in every game since the Steelers week 7 bye (He has 4 INTs in L3 games).

Pittsburgh’s defense now has 26 takeaways (14 INTs / 12 Fumbles), which ranks them second in the NFL and only 1 takeaway behind NE. The Steelers could improve upon these numbers this week, as Baker Mayfield has 12 INTs this season, which only trails Winston’s 14 INTs.

One area where the Browns are doing great is against the pass. Mason Rudolph has struggled to move the football and his biggest passing output in a game has been 251 yards.

Rudolph has also thrown a TD in every game and he only has 4 INTs. The Browns are likely to keep the Steelers limited through the air, but with Conner back it won’t matter as much.

Steelers vs. Browns Week 11 Best Bets

Do you think it’s a good idea going against the Steelers right now? They’ve won four games in a row, the defense has been playing amazing and they’re getting their #1 RB back.

Bet On Pittsburgh Steelers Week 11 2019Cleveland haven’t won two consecutive games all season despite the huge preseason hype. This is still a dysfunctional team and Odell Beckham Jr. is getting more frustrated each week.

I’m also not a fan of Freddie Kitchens and his play calling has been atrocious. The Browns are just 1-3 at home this season and I’ll take the Steelers at plus money every single time against CLE.

Since 2015, the Steelers are 7-0-1 against the Browns. The tie was last season in Cleveland, so don’t expect the Steelers to blow the Browns out on TNF, but the smart money is on them to win.

This game is going to go over 40 points, but it won’t be by much. Both of these offenses struggle to put up points, but I expect special teams and defense to provide a lot of short fields. It wouldn’t surprise me if we seen a defensive TD in this game either.

Both teams have been terrible in the red zone this season. The Browns score a TD on just 46.67% (26th) of red zone possessions, while the Steelers rank even worse (39.13% – 28th). However, getting Conner back will help the Browns in the RZ, especially against the Browns porous run defense.

My prediction for this TNF rivalry game is the Steelers will win 24-20.
