Where: CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington
Watch: Live on FOX

The Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Conference Championship this Sunday. These two teams are the class of the NFC and they’re both very familiar with each other. These rivals from the NFC West hate each other and it’ll show on the field.

Bet on this game at the Bovada Sportsbook (USA)!

Seattle opened up at –3 points with high juice, but now the sportsbooks have pushed the spread up to –3.5 points. I don’t think we’ll see more line movement on the spread. The total only opened up at 40 points and it has already been bet down to O/U 39 points.

49ers vs. Seahawks H2H Recap

These two teams play twice every regular season. This season they split the series 1-1 with each team winning at home. Seattle won the 1st game in week 2 (29-3) after a dominating performance, but the Niners tied the series with a win in week 14 (19-17).

SF vs. SEA Stats at a Glance

Keys to the Game for Seattle

In two games against the Niners this year Wilson has completed 23/44 pass attempts for 341 passing yards, 2 TD’s and 2 INT’s. Last week he struggled as well against New Orleans, as he only completed 50% of his passes (9/18) for 103 passing yards and 0 TD’s.

Lynch had 28 carries for 140 rushing yards and 2 TD’s against NO and he won Seattle the game. In the two games against SF Lynch has rushed the football 48 times for 170 rushing yards and 3 TD’s. Wilson has to step up, but Lynch still needs to do his thing.

Kaepernick puts up big numbers in the playoffs and this year he has thrown for 423 yards (2 TD’s) and rushed for 113 yards (1 TD). He has also rushed for 118 yards on 18 carries against Seattle this season. Seattle can’t allow Kaepernick to get to the sidelines.

In two playoff games Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin have combined for 22 receptions and 325 receiving yards. Neither of the WR’s has found the endzone, but they’ve been clutch on 3rd downs. SF has converted nearly 50% of their 3rd downs (12/26).

Wilson was sacked 3X against the Saints and he was under a lot of pressure most of the game. San Fran already has 9 sacks in their two playoff games and Seattle will have their hands full trying to contain the very strong front seven of the Niners defense.

Seattle was tied for 1st during the regular season with a TO margin per game of +1.2. They rarely turn the football over and last week against the Saints they had 0 TO’s while forcing 2 fumbles (1 Recovered). In order to cover SEA can’t afford having any turnovers.

49ers vs. Seahawks Best Bets

With the spread sitting at –3.5 I’m a bit worried of the hook, but the best bet is Seattle when they’re at home. San Fran didn’t have a good game against GB. They looked better last week, but a lot of that was due to the fact that the Panthers choked under pressure.

The Panthers defense was leaving receivers wide open and giving them way too much space near the 1st down sticks. Seattle will be right up on the WR’s this week and expect them to try and get under the skin of the SF offense like they did against New Orleans.

I lean to the under as well, but I personally don’t like betting totals that are so low. Both times these two teams played each other they stayed under 40 points, but both were very close to going over that number. I’ll be on Seattle and a few props for this game.
