2012 Wimbledon Finals Betting Tips

The 2012 Wimbledon Finals will be played this weekend to wrap up two great weeks of tennis. After Wimbledon we’ll cover the upcoming Olympics tennis tournament as well. The women’s final is between Radwanska vs. Williams tomorrow and the men’s final is between Federer vs. Murray on Sunday. You can bet on the Wimbledon Finals at Bet365 Mobile this weekend.

2012 WTA Wimbledon Finals: Radwanska vs. Williams Predictions

Agnieszka Radwanska 5.50 vs. Serena Williams 1.14

Radwanska may be the world’s #3 ranked women’s tennis player, but the #6 ranked Serena Williams is a heavy favourite to win the 2012 WTA Wimbledon Finals tomorrow. Serena has had a tough draw, but she has been dominant in her quest for her fifth title at Wimbledon in her career. Radwanska has played great as well, but Williams has been playing better tennis in London.

Serena beat #4 Kvitova 2-0 in the quarter-finals and followed that up with a 2-0 win over #2 Azarenka. One of my picks to win the tournament this year was Azarenka, so it was a shame seeing her knocked out in the semi-finals. While I’ve picked Serena to win on the women’s side against Radwanska there is no value betting her in the match odds market.

I actually like Serena to win 2-1 in this match at 4.33 odds (Bet365 Mobile). Williams hasn’t lost a set in her last two matches, but in the 3rd round she lost a set against Jie Zheng and in the 4th round she lost a set against Shvedova. I’m betting on Radwanska to win a set, but in order to do so tomorrow she’ll need to mix up her shots nicely and make Williams run around the grass court.

Williams is 2-0 in the H2H series and Radwanska hasn’t won a set off of her, but none have been in a grand slam title match like this and Radwanska will do her best to take this match to the limit. For those of you that Serena you can bet on her to win 2-0 in the sets betting market at 1.40.

• Serena Williams to win 2-1 (Sets) at 4.33

2012 ATP Wimbledon Finals: Federer vs. Murray Predictions

Roger Federer 1.50 vs. Andy Murray 2.75

Roger Federer is looking to tie the record for most Wimbledon titles with 7 on Sunday. He has been on a tear in London and I’m really looking forward to watching this match. Federer has been playing amazing tennis on the grass the past two weeks while Murray has quietly performed just as good and secured his spot in history.

It has been 74 years since the last time a men’s tennis player from Great Britain made it to the Wimbledon Finals. Murray has had tons of pressure on him, but according to his trainer Murray has been “hiding” the entire tourney. He has been focused on what he has to do in order to win the title and he hasn’t been letting outside influences like the media distract him.

Murray actually has a slight 8-7 advantage in the H2H series between these two tennis players. Oddly enough these two players have never played on grass against each other, but you have to give the edge to Federer. Roger has been dominant on grass his entire career and with the record books in his sight I’d be shocked if he faltered in the finals on Sunday.

Since 2012 these two have played each other H2H 5 times with Federer holding a 3-2 edge. In all of those matches the winner has won the match in straight sets, but only 1 match was 5 sets (2010 Aussie Open Finals), which Federer won 3-0. Federer is paying 3.20 to win in straight sets or if you think Federer will win a close one he’s paying 6.00 to win 3-2 in sets.

• Roger Federer to win 3-2 (Sets) at 6.00
